MY SINCERE THANKS Once the turmoil of the prior work and during the XXVII ISSCT INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS , our Association wishes to make our appreciation patent to all those who accepted the call made years ago at Durban, South Africa to attend these Aztec lands and enjoy, jointly with our people, the warmth of this universal fraternity melted in the crucible of this white gold called saccharose. The presence of technologists from fifty countries of the world practically ensured the success of this commission, where we could also confirm the high quality of the technical collaborations presented, many of which were broadly discussed and valued by the attendees of this event. We sincerely wish the experiences enjoyed during the Pre-Congress visits prepared, helped those who had the opportunity of joining them, to get a close look at some more of our productive reality; and we hereinafter endorse the offer of acting as a permanent link for further contact interchanges with out co-nationals. What to say about the magnum commercial sample? This was a nonpareil success, as acknowledged by the actors themselves, companies of recognized professional trajectory in the sugar cane agro industrial branch, both domestic and from abroad. The broad spaces and the fact that meals were tasted precisely next to the booths, allowed the satisfaction of suppliers’ commercial requirements. We hope that the social events, where we tried to mold some samples of our culture, were also of delight to every congressman, given the same carried the strong intention of showing the world the richness of a nation striving, day after day, to improve the economic and social status of its inhabitants. From here, please receive the deepest thanks to all those who made it possible for our Association to fulfill the commitment of this honor assumed; special thanks to the Government of Veracruz, which, jointly with the State University, firmly supported the carrying out of the Congress; to the PIASA Groups, to MOTZORONGO and LA GLORIA; to DESTILERÍA DEL GOLFO and of course to all the companies that collaborated with our magnificent work team as part of the Organizing Committee.
